Powder & Bulk Engineering Survey Names K-Tron

PITMAN, NJ (November 30, 2004)—The journal Powder & Bulk Engineering reports K-Tron won the #1 spot in preference for the overall category of Feeders in an awareness and preference study with their readers. More than 30 categories of equipment were surveyed.
K-Tron was also ranked #1 for preference in eight of the nine sub-categories for feeders, such as food processing, chemical processing, and engineering companies.
Powder & Bulk Engineering conducts the awareness and preference study of their readers in the North American market every two years. The study provides an overview of how manufacturers are perceived as quality suppliers. Five hundred questionnaires were mailed by the trade journal and they received a 31.20% return. Seventy-one percent of the survey respondents had 10 years or more experience in the powder and bulk industry.
